Sales Engineer - NCVS

Position Description

You will support the  NCVS sales team and prepare presentations, demonstrations, and value propositions for various product lines including but not limited to: MACS3 (all modules), Stowman, Bluetracker and cloud suite of NCVS. Role will also assist the Sales team for the Navis products, being N4, Octopi, Master Terminal, and the Navis Smart Suite products relevant for the Carrier customer group. 


  • Support sales in helping Navis to sell products and services

  • Develop and maintain demo environments for each of the Navis products

  • Prepare customer presentations that demonstrate Navis products 

  • Lead the response to customer technical RFIs and  RFPs

  • Act as liaison between Sales and Product, Engineering, marketing and other departments 

  • Prepare cost estimates by studying all related customer documents, consulting with engineers, architects, and other professional personnel

  • Educate key customers on the Navis product architecture and advantages to instill confidence that the Navis products are the most up to date (technically) and innovative products on the market today

  • Participate in industry conferences in support of sales

    • Conducting product demonstrations

    • Speaking at events

  • Provide product, service, equipment, technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests, including supporting account managers and account executives during customer meetings


  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to plan work, and report progress against plan

  • Strong English language skills

  • Strong understanding of Navis products and how customers use them

  • Ability to prepare detailed and engaging technical presentations and demonstrations

  • Understanding of the maritime and intermodal freight logistics industry

  • Highly motivated individual, who is ready to accept challenges, continually innovate and learn, and help others
