Position Summary

The Navis Managed Services TOS Engineer is responsible for providing consulting, troubleshooting, and configuration assistance to Navis Customers around the Navis TOS product.This role will provide Level 2 IT and Operational support to Navis customers, as well as assistance in the proactive monitoring and health of Navis software and related systems and proactively alerting customers to potential problems. 

Responsibilities

 

  • Monitoring and diagnostics of Navis software and systems 

  • Consulting and troubleshooting issues raised about Navis software by customers

  • Review and administration of customer software setup and configuration

  • Response to and Resolution of customer issues per a Service Level Agreement

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science.

  • 4+ years experience as a Services or Support consultant for an enterprise software company or in related field. 

  • Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment

  • Strong customer service orientation

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Experience in the maritime or logistics industry is a significant plus

  • Experience in Navis TOS a big plus

  • Experience working in distributed virtual teams

  • Demonstrate great attitude and work ethic

  • Professional image, personality and demeanor

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Meticulous organizational and multitasking skills

  • Excellent customer service and follow-up skills

  • Good listening skills

  • Proven desire and ability to complete tasks and meet deadlines to the best of his/her ability

  • Demonstrated pride in work, company and team

  • Relentless energy and enthusiasm

  • Ability to work well with others and follow instructions

  • Multilingual a plus
