QEHS Support Manager

Purpose of the position

The position will have its daily work in supporting the Americas. In this role, the position will report to the Senior QEHS Manager, GSD, whereas the daily follow-up will be towards the QEHS Manager GSD, region ANS. 

Main tasks and responsibilities

•    Have a proactive role in the QEHS activities in line with Cargotec and MacGregor policies and procedures. 
•     Responsible for coordination and follow-up of statutory EHS work and to ensure that EHS reporting is done on time. 
•    Responsible for monitoring of training records (statutory/Comptrack) 
•    Update and maintain ISNetworld and other customer QEHS portals as applicable 
•    Support and carry out training and development of all staff to ensure awareness and understanding of QEHS standards and the relevance to business objectives. 
•    Participate in investigations and root cause analysis of incidents. 
•    In cooperation with QEHS Manager GSD/ ANS, follow-up on implementation and maintenance of the Integrated Management System (IMS), Operating Principles Manual (OPM) and ensure that procedures are being operated       correctly by all functions. 
•    Follow-up of the nonconformity (NC) process and act as a super user of the NC reporting tool. 
•    Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 and assist in internal audits in cooperation with QEHS Manager GSD/ ANS. 
•    Carry out supplier audits as requested and participate in customer audits where applicable. 
•    Assist with QEHS input to customer questionnaires, tenders and projects 
•    Implementation and follow-up of activities according to the annual QEHS plan as delegated by the Senior QEHS Manager.

What you’ll need to succeed

Education:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental & Occupational Health, or related field highly preferred- will evaluate experience in lieu of degree

Experience:
•    3 years of relevant experience in QEHS. 
•    Solid knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 standards and integrated management systems 2 
•    Solid knowledge of statutory OSHA regulations and requirements 
•    Approved ISO auditor (ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001) 
•    Experience with industry and statutory requirements on QEHS 
•    Experience from the maritime industry
