In 2023 Cargotec decided to separate its three business areas into separate companies. We are therefore preparing MacGregor for the new era.
We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect, Finance to join our team of professionals in MacGregor’s family.
This position includes the ownership of the development roadmap created in close alignment with the Finance function, related solution owners, platform owners, service managers as well as business stakeholders. This role acts as a lead for the finance architecture and solution development, supporting team members to achieve their tasks within different technologies. The role requires a strong understanding of end to end finance processes and process dependencies. Good understanding of ERP capabilities, in particular SAP but also other relevant finance platforms knowledge is key.
The position is an integral part of MacGregor's global finance solution platform and solution implementation, support and development according to process changes and tactical annual plans. The solution architect also contributes to the strategic development roadmaps.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Solution ownership and development
- Own the roadmap and development roadmap for the defined finance concepts
- Ensure that new developments and solutions are properly defined and implemented to support the overall enterprise architecture and business needs
- Solution ownership for SAP (FICO) Finance & Controlling processes, and responsible of the developments in finance domain
- Support IT development projects together with Finance solution architects in architectural design, implementation and documentation
- Actively participate in the development of the overall Target Architecture and Architecture Vision of MacGregor
- Collaborate with finance and other business functions to gather, analyse, and document functional requirements.
Functional and Technical
- Act as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders related to the SAP FICO solution, managing expectations, and ensuring alignment.
- Configure and customise SAP FICO to support business processes, leveraging your deep technical expertise.
- Lead the resolution of incidents and problems related to the SAP FICO solution, minimising business disruption.
- Support and coordinate testing and quality assurance processes to ensure the solution's functionality
- and stability.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security within the MacGregor solution, and maintain compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal controls within the SAP FICO system.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science or other relevant area
- Experience of working with SAP ECC or S/4HANA systems is a must
- Experience of working with ServiceNow and specific SAP systems is an advantage – modules BW, Success Factors, FICO, MM, Treasury
- Experience in global cost planning and Hyperion
- Extensive understanding of Finance, Treasury Back Office (TBO) and Business processes
- Excellent knowledge of IT systems and interfaces
- Strong Interest in project work and development of processes and IT system
- Proficient in spreadsheets (possibly Google Sheets)
- Professional working proficiency in written and spoken English
- Understanding of business processes and their development, documentation and definition and the link between business processes and IT systems
- Collaborative, team oriented and with strong communication skills
