Logistic Handler

Purpose of the position
MacGregor is looking for a Logistic Handler to perform timely activities associated with the customers orders, coordinates and delegates incoming workflow as well as maintains good relations with stakeholders.You will be focused on creating the transport orders and all needed transport documents and follow up the transport of our spare parts orders shipped from our outsourced warehouses or suppliers. You will be collaborating and maintaining good relationships with all stakeholders.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Creating the Transport Order and to follow up the transport from our warehouses and suppliers
- Creating the Picking Request and to instruct warehouses to use right packing material for chosen transport mode
- Choosing the right transport mode and forwarder for Air, Road, Parcel Service, Courier, Sea shipments for a given destination. This is under consideration of possible Dangerous Goods, oversized cargo, given urgency and economy aspects
- Sending inquiries to forwards and calculate freight charges
- Monitoring the inbound deliveries in case of consolidation of stock items with parts purchased to order
- Issuing all needed transport documents including customs treatment, if applicable
- Checking delivery instructions
- Proactively supporting team in planning optimal workload and resources necessary for process execution in day to day work
- Verifying the completeness of orders with requirements
- Processing sales orders according to their priorities
- Handling non conformities and claims
- Sharing knowledge with Team Members, based on already acquired knowledge and experience, with the support of other Senior position and/or stakeholders.
What you’ll need to succeed
We are looking for a Team player who poses the following:
Education
- University (Bachelor's degree) level
- Knowledge and experience
- 2 -4 years experience in relevant field
Competencies
- Fluent in English, written and spoken
- Computer skills; MS office basics, G-suite and ERP system knowledge.
