(Senior) Project Controller

We are now looking for a proactive and unifying Senior Project Controller to join our skilled team. This position is located in Kristiansand, alternatively in Arendal.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• To ensure you have pull and push on the information from key stakeholders like procurement, sourcing and engineering
• Take charge and challenge the teams around you
• Ensuring a successful delivery and ability to perform throughout the execution
• To be at the forefront with your colleagues in the sales team and drive visibility in the risk, cost and planning, as well as spar with the different parts of the organisation to avoid pitfalls
• The diligence of ensuring proper setup (WBS and CBS) is your responsibility together with engineering and sourcing and other groups of the organisation
• Follow-up very closely with the cost budget
• Risk identification is your first step with the project team, but the mitigation of it is where you earn your mark
• Proactively challenging, analysing and suggesting mitigative actions is how you partner with the organization
• Take charge of consolidating financial forecasts, variance analysis and hedging
• Tax, Permanent Establishment, and general reporting can also be key elements in the role
• Earned Value Management, project scheduling in planning tools like Prima Vera or Click Up is also where you will work with the project
• You are a key and instrumental part of keeping the project together and your day-to-day partner is the Project Manager, while the reporting line is to the Business Controller

What you’ll need to succeed:

• University degree (MSc / BSc), Economics, Business & Administration or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a global organisation. Less can be accepted for a Project Controller role
• Collaborative, but with the ability to professionally argue various angles and risks in the project
• Proactive and able to see where the role can make the most influence
• Responsive with a sense of urgency to ensure on time delivery as well as the willingness and ability to change the mindset and drive changes when necessary
• Analytical and detailed oriented
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
