Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for customer inquiries, offering quick and effective solutions
  • Assist customers in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to our equipment on their vessels
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and technical support, to deliver comprehensive customer solutions
  • Analyse customer feedback and recommend improvements to products and services to meet customer needs
  • Provide customers with clear and helpful documentation, guides, and resources related to our equipment
  • Participate in regular meetings with internal teams to align customer needs with company objectives.


    As a Customer Experience Specialist, you will be the key contact for our customers, ensuring they receive timely and effective support. Your role is to resolve issues, provide guidance, and maintain strong relationships, helping to maximize the value of our equipment on their vessels. While prior experience with CRM systems is a plus, what matters most is your dedication to understanding customer needs, solving problems, and enhancing their overall experience with Macgregor. This role is part of our Global Services Division. Reporting directly to the Customer Experience Team Leader located in the UK, this position is located at our head office in Bergen.

What you’ll need to succeed

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in a customer support role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on resolving customer issues efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong customer relationships.
  • Ability to manage tasks independently and collaborate effectively in team settings.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with a customer-first mindset.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with SAP, Salesforce advantageous but not required.
  • Experience in the maritime or related industries is a plus.
