We are actively seeking a talented and experienced Project Manager, Technical to oversee a wide variety of projects and tasks within MacGregor’s Global Service Division. The purpose of the role is to provide technical knowledge within the project team along with execution and delivery of assigned CSS service projects within GSD. You will be ensuring the technical content of all work (tenders, proposals, bids and execution) is correct and in line with MacGregor policies.

 

The preferred location of the role is Kaarina, Finland and it reports directly to the Manager for CSS projects. 

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Execution and delivery of assigned projects in accordance with Operating Principal Manual (OPM), Integrated Management System (IMS) and project execution guidelines
  • Provide technical support to the Project Sales Managers
  • Produce specifications, tenders, bids and proposals
  • Supporting Project Sales Managers during tender / proposal / bid phase
  • Promote MacGregor products and capabilities (upgrades, retrofit, life extension, modernization etc.)
  • Maintain technical knowledge of products and solutions across the MacGregor product range.

What you’ll need to succeed

 

  • A B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Engineering or Naval Architecture
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong technical background
  • Ability to read and interpret manuals, drawings and bill of materials
  • Technical problem solving capability
  • Understanding of repair, replace and overhaul methodologies
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of SAP and SAP Project Module.
