PLM System Development Specialist

Purpose of the position

We are actively looking for a highly motivated candidate for the role of PLM System Development Specialist who will join our team of professionals in MacGregor’s family.  The purpose of the position is to ensure MacGregor’s Product Lifecycle Management processes and tools would go smoothly and properly, and strive for constant improvements in terms of their optimization and efficiency. The selected candidate will be in charge of keeping the balance between quality and cost with the supreme aim to deliver the best services and to meet the business needs of our clients and various stakeholders.

 

The position is based in our site in Kaarina, Finland or any other MacGregor office locations, and reports directly to the Global Domain Owner - Engineering.

Main tasks and responsibilities

 

  • Participate in the development of MacGregor’s PLM processes and tools in accordance with the business requirements and needs
  • Able to adopt working approaches  based on detailed specifications and system configuration which is defined by the business and IM
  • Collaborate closely with all team members and positively accept the final solution
  • Prepares documentation for Aras in terms of:

 

  1. Solution specification
  2. Use cases and processes
  3. MacGregor based training material

  

  • Work closely within both  Business and MacGregor’s IM and strives for continuous process improvement and cooperation.

What you’ll need to succeed


Education:

 

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Business Administration / Science or other similar proven capability that would allow you to successfully master the position.

 

Experience:

 

  • 3+ years of experience in relevant systems.

 

Competencies:

 

  • Good knowledge of system development and technologies (Jira/GitLab/SAFe/AWS)
  • Experience in PLM/PDM tools, specially Aras Innovator
  • Fluency in English - both written and spoken
  • An active and independent way of working with persistence.

 

Additional competencies:

 

  • Ability to travel internationally about 30 days per annum which may vary based on the situation
  • Ability to participate in rollouts which may require more extensive stays abroad, to be agreed separately.
