PLM Data Specialist

Purpose of the position

We are actively looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual for the role of PLM Data Specialist who will join our team of professionals in MacGregor’s family. The selected candidate will have the primary responsibility to set up and maintain the master data in the entire MacGregor’s PLM system.


The position is based in our site in Kaarina, Finland or any other MacGregor office locations, and reports directly to the Global Domain Owner - Engineering.

Main tasks and responsibilities


  • Participate in all of  MacGregor’s Product Lifecycle Management tools deployments
  • Coordinate and process MacGregor’s PLM related data migration activities
  • Partake in the development of MacGregor’s PLM master data setup
  • Systematise the PLM system related master data testing and training activities
  • Work closely within both  Business and MacGregor’s IM and strives for continuous process improvement and cooperation.

What you’ll need to succeed




  • Bachelor or Master degree in Business Administration / Science or other similar proven capability that would allow you to successfully master the position.




  • First-hand experience with data migration activities
  • Experience with SQL would be considered as an advantage.




  • Capability to identify business needs from key-user perspective
  • Good knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good presentation and coaching skills
  • Customer-oriented attitude
  • Customer service attitude
  • Fluency in English both written and spoken.
