We are looking for a motivated individual who believes in innovation and excellence, and is passionate about the maritime industry. The purpose of the position is to provide and develop value added customer solutions increasing the customer satisfaction.

Main tasks and responsibilities

 

  • Develop and provide value added solutions and systems to shipowners/operators, shipyards and design offices
  • Produce equipment specifications, needed drawings, technical analysis and cost estimates.
  • Participate and initiate customer communication & visits proactively
  • Maintain and improve the knowledge of cargo flow solutions and products
  • Close collaboration with shipowners, shipyards and design offices and internal stakeholders like area sales teams, engineering, sourcing and research & development.

What you’ll need to succeed

 

Education

  • B.Sc / M.Sc in engineering.

 

Experience

  • Preferably at least (3-5) years of experience with design, tendering and customer interactions.

 

Competencies

  • - Technical knowledge related to mechanical engineering, shipbuilding and cargo flow products
  • - Able to make decisions on technology issues independently
  • - Ability to take care of multiple customer projects simultaneously
  • - Good knowledge of engineering software and tools
  • - Proficiency in English both spoken and written.
