Our business is changing, which is why we are now looking for nothing less than the most talented professional to be responsible for the technical ownership of MacGregor Salesforce platform and related applications to the Salesforce platform, also for the development of road mapping and roadmap execution based on business requirements.

 

In terms of personal attributes, the position holder has to demonstrate the ability to gather and manage data, to work on own initiative, to be proactive and maintain a positive attitude. Ability to lead people in virtual teams. Ability to work well under pressure, be natural at building internal and external networks, and capability of challenging and defending one’s work. You are fluent in spoken and written English.

 

The position gives a good opportunity to get insight into the MacGregor business and requirements in MacGregor customer interface on processes and system support.This position is based in Finland, the location could be Helsinki, Kaarina or Tampere. You will report to Director, Platform Management.

 

Main tasks and responsibilities:

 

  • Owning the overall solution architecture, development pipeline and future roadmap for MacGregor Salesforce platform
  • Securing that future MacGregor Salesforce solutions are supporting MacGregor business requirements
  • Cooperating and coordinating with solution super users and key users of Salesforce-based business applications
  • Coordinating the capture and prioritization of business needs and requirements and helping in turning them into well documented development items in the backlog management tool
  • Nurturing and funnelling the business requirements to the selected Salesforce development partner responsible for delivering the solution developments in releases
  • Consulting in the solution design phase and reviewing and approving technical solution designs provided by the development partner
  • Work with the McG enterprise architect to align all the necessary technical foundation topics that are required to implement the business initiatives/epics
  • Coordinating with Cargotec and MacGregor IM to ensure adequate and cost-efficient amount of available Salesforce licences to cover the needs of different Salesforce-based applications
  • Manage the budget for about MacGregor’s Salesforce licence usage and corresponding costs
  • Vendor management - Grow and nurture a network of contacts from Salesforce, Salesforce customers and Salesforce technology vendors
  • Manage and coordinate Salesforce solutions with the external development team
  • Provide the input from the Salesforce platform point of view for MacGregor financial planning. This includes estimated platform usage and implementation costs
  • Cooperate with inhouse service provider to secure trouble free operations of the applications and integration
  • Project management of assigned development projects
  • Stay up to date of Salesforce new developments and development roadmap for the benefit of MacGregor Salesforce related needs and demands

 

What you’ll need to succeed:

 

Education

  • Masters or Bachelors Degree in Information technology or relevant experience

 

Experience

  • Min 7 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience with Salesforce projects (specification, integrations, development and deployment

 

Competencies

  • Agile development methodology understanding, certifications are a plus
  • Project management skills
  • Good knowledge on IM capabilities specifically in Salesforce technology and CRM domain
  • Good communication skills
  • Process improvement skills
  • Fluent in English (Finnish language capability considered an asset but not mandatory)
  • Ability to travel

 

Salesforce Certification

  • Administration
  • Other certifications are a plus
