MacGregor's Global Services Division is looking for a Product Manager, Deck Machinery to promote best practice activities to all GSD Sales team & MacGregor Branch office personnel to ensure maximum sales potential for spare parts and services for the product/s that you are responsible. The job includes motivating, coaching and following up with the GSD sales force working in conjunction with all Regional Account Managers (RAMs) and support the Line Manager on developing new market initiatives and ideas embedding/applying existing digital solutions linked to the product you are responsible for but not limited to in order to grow the after sales business

Main tasks and responsibilities

 

  • Develop, promote & monitor sales & service campaigns for your products in conjunction with GSC, Branch Offices and GSD staff
  • Develop and provide KPI data to management for your respective running campaigns
  • Actively participate to Regional meetings and engage with RAMs and GSC Team Leaders by holding regular meetings to ensure continuous follow up on your products and given Salesforce tasks
  • Use GAP to POTENTIAL methodology with the available tool to encourage GSD teams to target un-tapped potential
  • Ensure you stay in contact with your respective newbuilding sales team to be aware of any new product developments entering the market
  • Keep constant and proactive communication with the Digital Team 
  • Collect market intelligence and work with Price Manager to ensure parts prices are set at correct market price levels
  • Liaise and assist Supply Chain/Procurement whenever required 
  • Support GSD sales team where required when negotiating MacGregor Service Agreements
  • Meet customers together with GSD sales team on a regular basis
  • Schedule, plan, design and deliver regular ‘on-line’ Product training sessions to all applicable GSD staff
  • Provide face-to-face product related sales training to any GLS staff member where and when necessary
  • Ownership of your product IB – Installed base – product data – Ensuring that this data is being collated by others in the correct format and delivered on-time when requested for ERP system entry.
     

What you’ll need to succeed

 

  • Technical degree, strong commercial and suitable technical background
  • 5-8 year track record from relevant service business as well as relevant products
  • Commercial & negotiation experience and interest is essential
  • Suitable Technical knowledge on your own products to enable best practice selling to the customer
  • Leading and supervising projects
  • Excellent social and communication skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Willingness to travel abroad.
