Senior Manager, Digital Solutions

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Digital Solutions to support our Vice President of Digitalization and New Business Transformation (D&NBT) in delivering on our strategic priorities in MacGregor. In this role you will be working closely together with the D&NBT Management team, MacGregor Divisions, Engineering, product development teams and managers, product owners and engineering leads to define and plan the roadmap for strategic program of work as well as our customers to ensure we successfully develop, launch and deliver high value digital solutions.


This role is Global, however preference would be in one of our Central or North Eurpean locations. 

 

Main tasks and responsibilities: 

 

●    Develop and implement the strategic plan for the specific product/product group, and create and maintain fact based analyses and present business case for the new product opportunities.

●    Leads, manages and supports complex Digital projects and programs involving numerous applications, using best in class project management concepts, practices, processes, and tools

●    Drive excellence in Customer experience through seamless product/service integration,working closely with  Product Managers, Product Owners, Engineering Leads and other respective stakeholders 

●    Ultimately responsible for timely delivery of high quality software and value addition to customers in own product responsibility area

●    Contributes to monthly reviews together with relevant business stakeholders

●    Maintain a technical knowledge of new solutions and products for the product/service that are effective and appropriate for the target audience. 

●    Evaluates final results of design ensuring accomplishment of customer requirements

●    Leads, coaches and mentors respective teams towards delivering world class technical solutions to our customers.

What you’ll need to succeed:

 

The ideal candidate would be a highly ambitious, innovative, motivated and determined. You would also have solution driven mindset, the ability to find the most suitable solutions for technical issues in gateway/cloud/frontend/analytics areas by considering the system as a whole. 

 

Ideally you have:

 

●    Msc. in relevant field (eg: Engineering/Automation/Software/Business)
●    8+ years relevant business experience, including 3 or more years in a digital function. 
●    Very strong customer (outside-in) orientation and able to bring requirements into the developments
●    Experience in motivating mechanical/electrical engineers to contribute in digital/automation domain
●    Proven experience with turning digital concepts into viable and profitable solutions to customers
●    Solid knowledge of and experience working with design thinking, agile and scrum 
●    Technical aptitude with ability to communicate effectively with technical resources
●    Analytical mindset, with a data driven approach to problem solving to support decision making
●    Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritise workload with conviction and thrive in a dynamic and complex environment
●    Ability to build and develop deep relationships with internal stakeholders and external business partners
●    Excellent communication, interaction, influencing and team skills with the ability to translate, simplify and present complex technical & digital concepts to a wide stakeholder group
●    Strong leadership skills and experience with a visionary approach,  meanwhile a hands-on “just-do-it” entrepreneurial mentality
●    Knowledge of our customers, industry, segments and/or products  preferred.
