Trainer

Purpose of the position

MacGregor Global Services Division is looking for a Trainer (RoRo) who will be responsible for product line-related training for internal and external customers globally. 

This position could be in Poland or any other major MacGregor site and reports directly to the Director, Training. 
 

What you’ll need to succeed

Education

• Relevant education in engineering field at Bachelor level or equivalent 

Experience

• At least 5- years in the marine industry or relevant business/product experience

• Technical background or knowledge of MacGregor products is preferred 

• Experience in a technical/commercial role in a service environment is preferred

• Experience in field service jobs is an advantage 

Competencies

• Good technical skills and product knowledge

• Understanding of technical and operational use of the marine & offshore equipment

• Ability in coordination and completion of courses, including experience in instructing

• Ability to work in an international business environment and in a matrix organization

• Pedagogical skills and ability to transfer know-how/experience (technical writing/ presentation) 

• Strong IT skills (office software) 

• Good English skills, both written and spoken 

Key tasks:

• Prepare and develop training courses and course materials for products at different technical levels; 

• Perform training to internal and external customers globally (classroom, online, on equipment); 

• Develop and implement digitalized training and tools (VR, AR, e-learning, etc); 

• Keep track of product-trained personnel and relevant personal certificates in the system; 

• Develop and implement training programs/processes; 

• Register and keep updating relevant KPIs report; 

• Prepare offers and order confirmation for customer-related courses.
