Technical Support Engineer
Purpose of the position
Be a support for our service organisation and customers regarding Technical Support for Deck Machinery and Steering Gear.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Support our service organization and customers with:

Technical information and advices
-
Digital services and solutions
-
Technical service travel
-
Special technical surveys
Spares support
-
Support spare sales in identifying and recommending spares.
Technical Documentation Support
-
Support Technical documentation team in creating technical instructions.
-
Arrange technical information from Suppliers
Modernisations
-
Support development/installation of modernisation products.
What you’ll need to succeed
-
Technical background
-
At least five years in marine deck and machinery equipment field
-
Professional skills and can work independently
-
Very good English, written and spoken is an obligatory
-
Good Electric/Electronic, Good Hydraulic and Mechanical technical knowledge
-
Experience from service jobs and commissioning
-
Good team working, reporting and communication skills
-
Ability to work under pressure to keep deadlines
-
Ability to work in an international business environment and in a matrix organization
