Work location is Gdańsk.

 

Main tasks and responsibilities

 

  • Take part in Software & Controls development, test and deployment both on individual- and team basis

  • Optimization of existing control- and HMI systems with Siemens TIA portal

  • Contribute to continuous improvements by idealization and hands-on experience from equipment in operation

  • Participate in FMECA, design reviews and other Quality Assuring activities related to control systems and HMI  

  • Support to Installation & Commissioning Teams

 

What you’ll need to succeed

 

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. within Automation, Mechatronics, Control systems or equivalent

  • TIA Portal experience

  • Knowledge of Siemens and S7-1500 and S7-1200 

  • Knowledge of Allen Bradley experience

  • Programming experience in LAD, FBD and SCL

  • Experience in Siemens ProfiNet industrial network and in particular redundant configuration

  • In addition its beneficial if the SW Engineer has experience from both remote- and on-site support during Installation & Commissioning.

  • Cooperativeness, technical skills and customer orientation

  • Good technical English, spoken and written
