Sales Development Manager

Purpose of the position

 

The purpose of the position is to harmonize the sales processes and approaches towards our customers. To drive sales development activities for profitable growth. To work closely with the sales and Spare Part Centers to plan and execute initiatives for enabling predictive revenue growth and high capture rate. In the role you will also be responsible for Developing and managing a comprehensive training program, covering sales techniques, product knowledge, and industry trends.

Main tasks and responsibilities

 

  • Sales Process Optimization: Develop harmonize and implement effective sales development processes, tools, and strategies across the regions.

  • Lead Generation: Oversee and optimize lead generation activities, including outbound prospecting, inbound lead nurturing, and social selling.

  • Coaching and Development: Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to SDRs to enhance their skills and productivity.

  • Sales Pipeline Management: Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a steady flow of qualified leads and support the sales pipeline.

  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze the sales efficiency metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive results.

  • Sales Enablement: Develop and deliver sales enablement materials and training programs to equip the Sales department with the knowledge and tools needed to succeed.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and effective lead generation.

What you’ll need to succeed

 

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in sales development or a similar role.

  • Proven track record of building and managing high-performing sales teams.

  • Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to analyze data and use metrics to drive performance.

  • Knowledge of sales development tools and technologies (e.g., CRM systems, lead generation platforms).


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a technology or SaaS sales environment.

  • Familiarity with sales methodologies and best practices.

  • Experience with remote or hybrid work environments.

  • Experience with cross regional/cultural business environments.
