Mechanical Designer

Purpose of the position

Do you want to be part of creating a greener tomorrow? Do you want to manage the engineering groups Machine Design (Mechanical, Structural) and Control Design (Hydraulic, Software and E&I) located in Poland? 

What you’ll need to succeed:

Key Tasks:

• To-do-say: keep undertaken commitments,

• Designing welded steel structures;

• Concepts and technical descriptions of designed machinery;

• Creating project documentation (models, drawings & manuals) according to regulations and standards in the company;

• Creating standard components;

• Cooperation with other disciplines;

• Marine Classification Societies rules interpretation, clarification, and practical use;

• Development and optimization of existing mechanical solutions.

What do you’ll need to succeed:

• At least 6 years of relevant experience in mechanical design for the marine or heavy industry;

• University degree in a relevant field;

• Fluent in written and verbal communication in English (C1/B2);

• Experience in Autodesk  Inventor,  AutoCAD, Vault;

• Experience in the design of steel structures and evaluation of strength calculations;

• Analytical thinking and strong ability to successfully resolve complex problems and issues;

• Enthusiastic and passionate about working with people, good team player;

• Independent self-driven, flexible and open-minded;

• Openness to share and implement new ideas.
