Control System Lead Engineer
Purpose of the position
The purpose of the position is to lead the team of Control Systems Engineers and ensure the proper flow on ongoing projects.
Key responsibilities:

Leading team
-
Design and development of crane control systems
-
Software standardization
-
Design review, FMEA study
-
Documentation (test/verification procedures, operating instructions and manuals)
-
Verification & test
- Technical support
What you’ll need to succeed:
Must-have skills:
-
Experience in leading teams,
-
Technical Bachelor or Master degree within Automation / Mechatronic / Electro / Robotics,
-
Knowledge about offshore cranes is an advantage,
-
Experience with software development for advanced control and monitoring systems (PLC systems and HMI systems),
-
Proficient in English, both oral and written,
-
Good communication and co-operation skills, assertiveness.
-
Programming skills (C/C++/C#, Visual Basic, SQL),
-
Experience with Siemens S7 PLCs.,
-
Experience with Wonderware InTouch,
-
Experience with AutoCAD,
-
Experience with ABB drives,
-
Experience with Sinamics drives,
-
Knowledge about rules and guidelines for lifting appliances (LR, DNV, ABS, BV) is an advantage,
-
Knowledge about calculations and coding for motion compensated equipment is an advantage,
-
The ability to work as a multidiscipline team player,

Readiness to travel
