We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to join our team of professionals in MacGregor’s family.
The position will be located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and reports to Director HR, MacGregor. This position will be responsible also for Qatar, India, and Greece, and likely some small countries in southern Europe.
Main tasks and responsibilities

Provide local operational and tactical support and advice for MacGregor units and support the dedicated managers with HR topics, initiatives, and coaching

Implement and support the development of initiatives, policies, and programs that align with MacGregor People's strategy and business goals

Develop, implement, and maintain local HR policies, ensuring legal and MacGregor company-level compliance

Manage independently any local HR related topics such as work and residence permits, allowances, contracts etc.

Oversee compliance responsibilities, such as payroll, pensions, insurance, data protection, etc.

Ensuring cost efficient and customer driven service and vendor management (helping negotiate and monitor vendor contracts and Service Level Agreements) on Payroll, Recruitment, Healthcare, Pension & Insurance benefit providers

Work in collaboration with relevant parties to ensure cost efficient and reliable payroll operations

Drive the local salary review processes

Coordinate and communicate with relevant local authorities

Ensure handling of all local data needed for MacGregor or for local legislation. This concerns sick leave numbers and other relevant statistics
What you’ll need to succeed

Relevant Bachelor’s/Master's degree
-
Minimum 6 years working experience independently in HR full spectrum preferably in a manufacturing/engineering/maritime environment and in the global business environment

Knowledge and experience of the UAE, Qatar, India and Greece labor legislations, collective agreements and local agreements and local practices

Strong knowledge of HR programs, policies, and practices to develop programs that support the Division/Function needs

Understand business priorities and the impact that they have on HR agenda

Demonstrate capability to provide clear guidance and support to line management and team members regarding implementation and development of HR programs

Ability to lead negotiations effectively with others, i.e. line and HR management, other functions and other HR professionals, to define goals and strategies for attaining them

Confident in analyzing HR related issues and needs, developing innovative solutions to meet these needs/address these issues, as well as assessing the business impact of these solutions

Fluency in English both written and verbal

Experience of working in a global matrix organization is a benefit
