Service Coordinator

Description of the role:
• To provide sufficient and efficient coordination of service operations at all times to fullfill internal / external customer and business requirements.
• To assist with pre contract cost estimation with help of STS, to co-ordinate global resources together with other Fleet managers and to supervise the execution of assigned contracts efficiently and profitably at all times to fullfill internal / external customer and business requirements.


Key tasks:
o Support Key Account Manager with cost estimates of contracts
o Take over contract responsibility at Start-up Meeting.
o To be prime point of contact with customer during the contract period.
o Ensure that all parts follow time schedule, specification and monitor budgetary constraints of contracts.
• Co-ordination of inspections and service jobs world-wide:
o preparation and planning of inspections and service jobs, order subcontractor/ship yard/inter company services, creation of requested statements to customers and insurance companies, transfer subcontractor service reports into MCG standard, technical support to engineers, feedback to Product lines
• Co-ordination of installations and warranty jobs (if applicable) :
o preparation and documentation of installation jobs, organization of warranty jobs
• Check of incoming invoices for service parts and subcontractors:
o claiming of incoming invoices, discounts, quality control
• Preparation of documents for invoicing:
o invoice discussion with customer and insurance, creation of special reports for insurance
o Prepare repair job quotations : tender and price finding for service jobs
o 24 hours telephone support for service engineers, customers and vessels


What you’ll need to succeed:



  • Bachelor degree or equivalent



  • 2+ years of relevant business / product experience



  • Fluency in English
