Site Supervisor

Rapp Marine, a MacGregor company, are looking for a Site Supervisor for the Fishery & Research Solution Division.


  • Responsible for execute test, installation and commissioning activities on our winch and deck handling equipment on Site worldwide.
  • Comply with Rapp Marine and customers HSE policy to prevent accidents, injuries, and damage to people, environments and assets.
  • Prepare detailed plan, execute and report all activities in the test, installation and commissioning phase.



  • Together with the Site team, draw up detailed plan in terms of scope, time, cost and HSE
  • Ensure that Rapp Marine detailed plan is synchronized with customers / shipyard plan and activities.
  • Execute test, installation and commissioning activities according to baselined detailed plan.
  • Work together with customer project organization and Rapp Marine site team and report progress, cost, risk.
  • HSE responsible on Site, incl. carry out  and document Tool Box Talk and Safe Job Analysis
  • Draw up and maintain punch list, day-by-day service report, handover and final report.
  • Ensure weekly external time sheet approval for allocated personnel on Site



  • Superior: Director Test & Commissioning
  • Subordinates: Allocated Service Technicians / Site resources



  • Authority to administer allocated Site resources
  • Authority to make necessary actions related to cost, time, scope, quality and HSE within the project budget limitations.



  • B.Sc. within automation, mechatronics or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience within control systems (PLC) or variable-frequency drive (VFD) can compensate for formal education.
  • Practical experience from commissioning of marine and offshore-related industry is preferred.
  • Proficient in English, both oral and written
  • Good computer skills
  • The position requires a structured person with good cooperation skills, technical skills and customer orientation. The position will include interaction with domestic and international customers.



  • The position required frequent travel activities worldwide, approx. 150 travel days per year must be expected
