Are you skilled and ambitious, looking for an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of offshore service projects?

The Aftermarket in Macgregor Norway AS is looking for a project assistant to join our team in the Offshore project department.

Your main responsibility will be to support project managers and team members in the successful delivery of our service projects. You will play a vital role in delivering outstanding service to our clients. This will involve a range of tasks such as coordinating project activities, preparing project documentation, communicating and following up with suppliers and stakeholders.

This  is a position that will give you the opportunity to develop your technical skills and knowledge, making this role an excellent opportunity for personal and professional growth.

The position can be located in Arendal, Kristiansand or Bergen.

 
Main tasks and responsibilities:
 

• Process and control all the service project activities in accordance with project execution guidelines in cooperation with the Project Managers
• Maintain our project data in our ERP system
• Perform purchasing, vendor follow up and manage the logistic process 
• Assist the project department with cost calculations and obtaining offers from external vendors
• Documentation and warranty

What you’ll need to succeed:
 

• Relevant education at Bachelor's level
• Relevant work experience with documented results may compensate for lack of education
• Minimum 3 years experience from a similar position
• Proficient using SAP within purchase, order delivery, invoicing, project module
• Will be an advantage if you have previous experience with tax and custom rules for international shipments
• Good at communicating in a professional manner
• Customer service focus and interpersonal skills
• Good verbal and written communications skills in English
