Technical Documentation Specialist

The MacGregor company is constantly growing and developing its organizational structure in Sweden. MacGregor designs, manufactures, installs products, and delivers spare parts. At present Global Services Division is looking for candidates for the Technical Documentation Specialist position who will be responsible for creating manuals.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Creating manuals and its modules
• Preparing and developing content of the manuals in cooperation with the new building design department
• Handling updates of new revisions of the old manuals
• Maintaining and developing manual software tools & procedures

What you’ll need to succeed

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Documentation field or other equivalent university degrees
• Very good technical English, written and spoken, is an obligatory
• Understanding of technical documentation and drawing standards
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to make decisions independently
• Problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure to keep deadlines
• Ability to work without detailed instructions
• Ability to work in an international business environment and in a matrix organization
• Customer service, cost-aware, and marketing mindset

You should have:

• Minimum five years of experience in technical design or technical editing

You could have:

• Knowledge of MacGregor spare parts and products is a benefit
• Experience in using technical writer’s tools (i.e., Arbortext, FrameMaker)
• Experience working in an international environment
