Product Manager, Cranes

Purpose of the position

MacGregor is looking for a responsible and motivated individual for the position of Project Manager, Cranes, who will join the team of MacGregor’s Merchant Solutions Division. The selected candidate will be responsible for the whole technical process, mediating the Engineering CRA and the production/commissioning of FAT/SAT protocols. You will take care of the entire product lifecycle management, as long as conducting training sessions for various stakeholders concerned.


The position is located in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden and reports directly to the Director Engineering, Cranes.

Main tasks and responsibilities


  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of the FAT/SAT protocols and strive for customer satisfaction
  • Account for the development and maintain BOD-extend
  • Act like an initial point of contact for customers, providing information about our products and all of the engineering processes related to them
  • Provide constant examination of the products’ maintenance and facilitate solutions for the problems occurred
  • Coordinate warranty claims of our product portfolio, including all components and systems, and guarantee proper coverage for customers’ quality enquiries
  • Conduct training sessions for our personnel and other stakeholders, whenever there is a new product launch or updates in the software functions
  • Work closely with suppliers and production partners in all of the departments within MSD.

What you’ll need to succeed




  • Relevant university degree in any technical studies.




  • 3 years of relevant business/product experience
  • Engineering work experience with relevant engineering tools.




  • Good knowledge of mechanics and hydraulics
  • Excellent electrical knowledge, including frequency converter drive systems
  • Ability to handle multiple demands and manage different priorities with a problem-solving attitude
  • Fluency in English - both written and spoken.
