Electrical Designer

We’re looking for an Electrical Designer who  will be responsible for designing the crane's electrical system,in modules that can be reused between different crane types.

You will be a contact person for suppliers of electric equipment as well as with subcontractors, and in cooperation with purchasing find cost effective solutions.
 
The position will be located in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden.
 

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Perform electrical system design according to current rules and regulations
• Perform electrical hardware design using 3D CAD-software
• Store and maintain electric system drawings and component data sheets in the drawing revision system and PLM system
• Develop and maintain the electric system modules.
• Handle FAT, SAT and test protocols for the electrical systems.
• Participate in R&D projects
• Handle electric system related questions from after sales, production, commissioning and customers.
• Participate in crane commissioning or troubleshooting in the field when required.
   

What you’ll need to succeed

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or similar knowledge acquired from practical work
• 0-3 years of relevant business / product experience
• Electrical design and calculation skills
• Software skill in CAD systems
• Cooperation and communication skills
• Good spoken and written skills in English.
