We are now looking for a Trainee, Software Engineering to join us in Tampere. Depending on your interests, experience, and skills, you may be helping us in:


  • Application development: implementing Web and mobile applications for our customers using e.g. Javascript/Typescript, HTML, CSS, NodeJS, React, and React Native
  • Cloud and backend development: implementing REST APIs, microservice containers, and serverless data processing components on our IoT cloud platform, using e.g. Java, Typescript or Python, and AWS services like ECS, RDS, Lambda, Glue, S3, or IoT or
  • DevOps & QA: developing automation scripts for the purpose of streamlining, implementing, and testing software components using e.g. AWS CDK, Ansible, AWS CloudFormation, RobotFW, and Jenkins


You will be working in an agile, cross-functional, and international team utilizing modern software development and testing tools and methods.


What you’ll need to succeed:


  • Ongoing or completed B.Sc. or M.Sc. studies majoring in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
  • Proficiency or good practical knowledge of one or more programming languages including Javascript, Typescript, Python, and Java
  • Depending on the role, some experience in application development, AWS cloud technologies, and DevOps tools, or interest towards such
  • Understanding the principles of agile and lean software development methods
  • Natural drive for continuous learning
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Communication skills, ability to influence, explain, collaborate, and inform
  • Working fluency in English
