Trainee, Crane Electromechanics

Kalmar's Intelligent Crane Solutions division is looking for a Trainee, Crane Electromechanics. In this role you will be working together both with Product managers and with the Customers. You will be attending meetings, customer visits and industry trade shows when needed. The position is situated in Tampere.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Roadmap and product life-cycle management support
  • Product feature verification
  • Delivery projects support
  • Continuous product improvement
  • Active collaboration with different counterparts in order to ensure a successful delivery and support of the Kalmar solution
  • Sales & Marketing Support.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Last or second last year student or recent graduate of M.Sc / B. Sc degree in mechanics or electrics
  • Min 1 year total work experience from single or various employer. Industrial or customer service work experience preferred
  • Research & Development (R&D) in machine automation or industry machine design (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Logistics business (Container terminal, intermodal facility, trucking industry, etc. (preferred)
  • Systematic and proactive way of working
  • Competence to understand complex mechatronic systems
  • Presentation skills
  • Written and verbal communications skills in English.
