We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to lead Kalmar's Measurement Systems Software
and Machine Learning team. The purpose of the position is SW development in areas that
require Machine Learning and Machine Vision and contribute in the design, development
and maintenance of various systems. This position is located in Tampere, Finland.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Lead agile practices with a team of skilled developers
- Development and maintenance of KalmarOne software components in the field of
- measurement systems and machine learning according to roadmaps
- Analysis of complex systems to understand the behaviour and contribution of the
- measurement system and machine learning components to customer systems
- Contribute to architectural and technical design of components
- Regular progress reporting and status of the development Team participation and
- interaction
- Produce technical product documentation.
What you will need to succeed:
Education:
- MSc or BSc Degree in Automation, Information Technology or Computer Science.
Experience
- 4+ years of experience of software development Demonstrated experience developing.
- applications using C++ and Python
- Experience as technical lead of an agile software development team
- Experience in agile software development methods, tools and processes, including Git, Jira and Confluence
- Experience with Linux desirable Experience writing technical documentation
- Proficiency in English and excellent problem solving skills
- Capable of working independently and with a team
- Hands-on attitude.
