Head of Global Sales

Purpose of the position


As a Head of Global Sales you are responsible for motivating and leading the HT sales team. You secure growth plans are developed and executed  to reach  market share targets set in our strategy, whilst also reaching our financial targets for profit and cash flow.


Main Tasks and Responsibilities


  • Lead a team consisting of
    • Sales development leads
    • Sales Support and contract management
  • Through the sales development team
    • Develop and secure execution of growth plans bringing us to our set market share targets, both for the individual regions/countries, as well as with our key accounts.
    • Gather market intelligence worldwide:
    • Give support to frontline sales during the sales process and lead the sales efforts to make the sales
    • Train  the front line team in how to sell the HT products
  • Regularly meet customers, and ensure that the whole team as well as other relevant functions within HT meet with customers.
  • Oversee HT route-to-market and cost of sales globally. Prepare proposals on how to improve efficiency, lower cost of sales and achieve growth.
  • Meet requirements on financial targets for profit and cashflow.
  • Annual planning – budget process for area of responsibilities
  • Responsible for contract management and price setting
  • Provide market information to ensure we have strategic fit

What you’ll need to succeed



  • Relevant university degree and/or experience
  • Global experience in leading sales of heavy equipment
  • Strong collaboration capabilities and effective networking skills
  • Strong sales experience
  • Change management
  • Personnel management
  • Strong communication skills
  • Fluent English.
