We are looking for a motivated individual to join us as a Chief Engineer, Automation System Testing.
Chief engineer of automation system testing works in the Strategy, Sustainability and Technology function
at Kalmar. The purpose of the position is to lead and ensure high quality and readiness of the robotics and
automation system technology (equipment, hardware, software) based on requirements and relevant
standards.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Lead automation system testing planning
- Lead execution and documentation of system testing with relevant stakeholders
- Lead development and maintenance of live automation test environments at test yard, operations
- center and simulators
- Lead demonstrations at control center and test yard
- Participate into systems engineering design
- Manage selected robotics and automation technology projects
- Support for customer delivery and pilot projects.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Project management experience is considered as a plus
- Earlier experience on robotics and automation projects is considered as a plus
- Software and/or System testing and test planning experience
- Software and/or system integration experience
- Hardware in the Loop (HiL) simulator experience
- Knowledge on software development
- Knowledge on robotics and automation hardware
- Earlier experience on systems engineering is considered as a plus.
