Standardization Engineer

Purpose of Position:

Lead/support standardisation cost savings activities within Kalmar.

You will be part of the Kalmar standardisation team, which handles the internal portfolio of standards, called Kalmar Group Standard (KGS).

You will be reporting to the Lead Standardisation Engineer.

Main Responsibilities:

• Create new, update, review and monitor the standard portfolio (Kalmar Group Standard, KGS), including: 
• Secure that all needs from all stakeholders are included in the preparation of a new or revised standard.
• Develop and write draft standards, collect review comments of draft standards according to internal processes.
• Follow and secure the review-approval-publish process.
• Secure implementation of released standards in the organisation.

What you will need to succeed:

• B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar. 
• English - must be able to express yourself very well in writing and in speech
• Service minded and customer oriented -you will need to connect with and align stakeholders. 
• Ability to set realistic targets and deadlines and execute accordingly. 

Beneficial but not a requirement:

• Experienced within similar industries are beneficial
• Working with international standards 
• Experienced in cross-functional roles.  
• M.Sc. degree
