RDE Site Manager Operation

Purpose of the position

RDE Site Manager Operation for the product types TT/CCH/FLT within the Business Lines in Mobile Equipment division (ME) based on customer needs, legislation and internal requirements and according to business strategies.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • To lead and develop the Liaison Engineering group for TT/CCH/FLT at site.
  • Secure that Liaison work is done according to Job description.
  • Responsible for allocated resources is used efficiently within each Business Line.
  • Responsible for planning together with Chief Engineers and performing of approved by Chief Engineers design activities, deliveries and ensuring that the timings are kept.
  • To provide technical support in Co-operation with Chief Engineers to Operation.
  • Responsibility for regularly reporting to the Head of R&D regarding outcome and possible deviations.
  • Responsible for the staff including salary based on organization and agreed policies.
  • See to that work in own organization is done according to work related legislation.
  • To supply staff within own organization with necessary competencies for accomplish the work and enough resources regarding premises, tools and description for the work have been assigned to the subordinates.
  • Responsible for an efficient working process within own department.
  • In charge of information to subordinates and the R&D management team.
  • Responsible for PDP with subordinates are accomplished yearly.
  • Responsible for that enough training according to agreement will be performed.
  • Responsible for supply resources and competencies in own area of operation.
  • To employ personnel according to agreement and organization plan.
  • To delegate responsibility and authority to subordinates in Co-operation with Chief Engineers.
  • Facilitate for an efficient working process.
  • To give input to the products development plan.
  • To work for product commonality within the ME division. 
  • In charge of budget, actual cost and forecast for own area of operation.
  • Authorization rights according to approved chart of accounts.

What you’ll need to succeed

Education

  • Education level needs to be Master of Science in engineering field or similar knowledge.

 

Experience

  • Sound technical knowledge regarding ME product types or similar rubber tyre vehicles.
  • Experience of product development activities is needed.
  • Experiences from similar tasks are qualifying.
  • Experiences regarding other Kalmar products are qualifying. Competencies
