Business Controller

Purpose of the position

Lead Business Control activities for Bromma Principal. Support the business with relevant financial and other relevant information for decision making, spanning historical, current, and future performance. Support implementation of Bromma strategy, targets and financial processes. The target of the Business Controller is to ensure harmonized, efficient and high quality support to the business. Securing availability and reliability of adequate financial information to support the business in decision-making is key to success. 

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Work as a business partner to management with financial information, business review and analysis, and use this information to lead the planning, performance management, decision making and controlling processes. Challenge the business and financial performance.
  • Manage the planning, forecasting, and actual reporting process in close cooperation with the Finance Team. Analysis of actual, forecast, and budget.
  • Monitor and analyze monthly results for the assigned units against budget/forecasts and initiate/implement improvement and corrective activities.
  • Report and communicate financial performance to relevant parties.
  • Participation and contribution in common business control objectives
  • Lead a small team of Finance professionals

What you’ll need to succeed

Education

  •  University degree in business and economics or other relevant field of study

Experience

  • Min. 5-7 years in similar roles

Competencies

  • Ability to deal with complex analysis, forecasts and business cases on a major global scale
  • High knowledge and experience in finance and business control processes and activities
  • Ability to drive and develop processes and activities and clearly communicate and implement policies and principles
  • Strong collaboration skills and effective networking skills
  • Good communication skills with the ability to build relations and trust with key stakeholders in the organization
  • Hyperion, SAP, MS Office, G-Suite
