Service Sales Manager - UK - Wide role
Purpose of the position
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as Service Sales Manager to develop and secure new service and parts sales to agreed targets, to support operations through to contract delivery and handover.
This is role is UK - wide and open for candidates across the country who are willing to travel in the North and South. The role is home based ( when not travelling) with occasional need to visit our office in Shrewsbury.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Work on own initiative to develop service sales strategy ensuring revenue growth for new customers, targeting new customer accounts, segments and geographical regions.
- Proactively manages own sales activity and efforts, ensuring that quality and quantity of sales efforts meets the Company’s expectations.
- Responsible for targeting and completing service sales tenders through to contract delivery and handover.
- Responsible for ensuring that all Salesforce administration and service pipeline is maintained at a level to achieve sales targets and growth, including updating key customer contacts for marketing purposes.
- Development of action plans to penetrate new markets and opportunities.
- Provide timely, specific and accurate feedback to senior management regarding sales performance along with market conditions and trends.
- Work collaboratively to form positive and productive relationships with colleagues across the business, working closely with key stakeholders.
- Responsible for delivery of own targets, KPI’s and budget achievements through effective planning and sales activities.
- Support Service Management team where required.
- Observe all safety procedures and instructions and assist in maintaining a safe work place and reporting any accidents, hazards, near misses, defects or damages to plant and equipment to the appropriate person.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Formal recognised sales qualification (or working towards), e.g. ISMM.
