Sales Representative

Kalmar: Making your next move count

 

We are looking for a Sales Representative to promote and sell the Kalmar products and services including spare parts and provide technical sales support.

The candidate is preferable to be in the area of Doncaster/ Scunthorpe or 20 minutes surrounding.

Main tasks and responsibilities

 

  • Pursue sales leads, visiting existing and new customers to meet sales target levels
  • Report the activities to CRM
  • Negotiate prices and delivery times within limits of authority
  • Conclude sales orders to meet revenue targets
  • Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services
  • Identify, research and contact prospective customers and build positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business
  • Refer sales leads, customer feedback and information on competitor activity to appropriate contacts within the organisation so that they can respond to changing market conditions and customer demands
  • Local marketing actions to promote Kalmar.

What you’ll need to succeed

 

Education

 

  • Typically university (Bachelor's degree) level or vocational qualification 
  • Relevant working experience.


Experience

 

  • Experience in handling sales or terminal segments, commercial acumen
  • Local business knowledge related to forklifts, construction machinery, container handling or similar mobile equipment
  • Minimum technical knowledge (mechanical and hydraulic or electrical)
  • Experience in creating solutions.
