Sales Support Engineer

Purpose of the position

Be the contact person from KCCC to serve as sales support to: the Regions through Terminal Project Sales Offices at Cargotec and the sales forces covering Mainland China

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to develop crane specification by extracting key and critical information from the tender document.
  • Capable in listing out technical and commercial deviations while being creative in preparing tender offering.
  • Have the inner drive to convert tender offering into order confirmation and to work towards KCCC’s key performance indicators 
  • Other work obligation assigned by Senior Sales Support Manager
  • To submit bidding documents as per tender requirements in time without delay.
  • To arrange and lead the kick-off meeting upon receipt of order
  • Ensure all features in the specification, quotation/contract are properly cost in.
  • To structure Customer Contract  with Cargotec staff and to restrict risk to minimum as much as possible.
  • Complete the order processing including the timely issuance of production order
  • Follow up on submitted tender
  • Responsible to hand over the awarded contract to Project Management Department
  • Establish and execute annual, quarterly, monthly, or weekly sales support plans for respective region. 
  • To safe keep all data and information from competitors and/or third parties
     

What you’ll need to succeed:

Education

  • Bachelor of Science or above 
  • Engineering / Business certificate needed 

 Experience

  • 2-3 years of relevant working experience 

Competencies

  • Ability to articulate and has good product and commercial knowledge. 
  • Good sense of responsibility
  • Possess good communication and coordination skills
  • Good command of computer skills
  • Good analytical skills and sales ability
  • Good command of the English language, both spoken and written
  • Pleasant personality
