EDrive System Engineer

Purpose of the Position
The eDrive system engineer will support new generation power platform development and define Kalmar driveline roadmap based on Kalmar product portfolio.  The position is in the eMobility team within the Strategy, Sustainability and Technology function in Kalmar and is based in Shanghai. 

Key Role and Responsibilities
●    Support defining Kalmar driveline roadmap and strategy
●    Define modular approach of motor & inverter according to Kalmar product portfolio 
●    Define motor & inverter system specification 
●    Tracking motor & inverter technology mega trend
●    Technical release of new motor & inverter supplier
●    Tracking product development status in supplier
●    Troubleshooting of product launch issue and validation issue
●    Provide motor & inverter expertise for all the divisions

What You Need to Succeed

●    Master degree in electrical engineering, power electronics or automation
●    Working as a friendly and proactive member in team
●    At least 5 years of working experience of HV motor & inverter system design in automotive or commercial vehicle industry
●    At least proven track record in one SOP product
●    Technical experience regarding material handling equipment or similar heavy machines is a plus
●    Deep understanding in HV motor & inverter industry 
●    Solid knowledge in eDrive system functions and requirement decomposition;
●    Good knowledge of motor & inverter design principle
●    Good communication skills in both English and Chinese
●    Familiar w/ EU, US, CN motor & inverter  regulations
