Senior Executive, Service Sales

Description of the Role


  • Preparation of order processing, delivery, logistics and invoicing for Parts Sales – Kalmar, Bromma & Crane Parts in SAP
  • Assist collection effort by providing support documents to customers in a timely manner
  • To develop and establish sales strategies with action plan in order the sales target for assigned customer(s) in Kalmar, Bromma & 3rd Parties Crane Parts
  • Maintaining accurate sales records for assigned account(s)
  • Maintaining and developing existing or new customer(s) especially with Store and Purchasing Team(s)
  • Listening to the customer's/customers' complaint(s) and seek solutions for customer(s)
  • End User in SAP for Parts
  • Contribute to the formulation of Parts Sales Strategies and Tactical plan to meet Part Sales Department Yearly Target


Key Tasks


  • To develop extensive working partner relationship with customer(s)
  • Preparation of tenders related to Parts
  • Update backlog order report for customers
  • Manage the backlog order report from Central warehouse via SAP and external vendor
  • Maintain high working knowledge of SAP process in relations to Sales and Material
  • Managing the sales process for new prospects, from initial contact through to closure
  • Dealing with customer enquiries face to face, over the phone or via email
  • Contacting prospective customers and discussing their requirements
  • Act as a team player to achieve all revenue targets & objectives in line with the Area Business Plan
  • Assist in reporting business trends and area performance to the Sales Manager
  • Improve current and develop new sales initiatives to expand Parts sales market share and secure more Parts orders
  • Lead in increasing parts sales via MyKalmar (e-commerce platform) and Sales campaign exercises






  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration/ Marketing / Engineering or equivalent





  • 2 - 4 years of experience in sourcing and purchasing on all aspects of commodity such as raw materials, metal commodities, heavy and high technology machineries
  • Managing and developing the Ocean Freight Import & Export operational activities in the area in accordance with the group business strategy and local business environment
  • ≥ 5 years of Parts sourcing and sales for terminal solutions





  • Able to converse in English/Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin
  • Interpersonal skill
  • Computer literate
  • Integrity
