Your task is to ensure our delivered solutions in North America operate as efficiently as possible and meet our customers’ demands today and tomorrow.

What you’ll need to succeed:

✓    Commercial and Technical background, University or Bachelors Degree.
✓    4-8 years’ experience in leading teams and working with complex software projects and services
✓    Strong leadership skills with the ability to work with others in a matrix from a range of cultures within a diverse technical, social, economic and political environment
✓    Experience in software development, testing and support
✓    Strong customer focus and experience in services and project business
✓    Leadership, competence development and decision-making skills
✓    Influencing, empowerment and delegation skills
✓    Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills
✓    Willingness and desire to continuous personal learning
✓    Advanced verbal and written skills (technical fluency in English required)
✓    Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment, make effective and timely decisions, solve problems, facilitate organizational and procedural changes

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

1. Customers 
●    Developing and maintaining good relationships and customer satisfaction with our Software Maintenance and Support customers in North America
●    Ensuring efficient and transparent customer communications related to issues and future developments
2. Leadership and Management
●    Build, develop and lead the North America Kalmar One Automation Services Team which provides software support and additional services to our customers.
●    Lead the work of software service engineers by setting clear roles and responsibilities within the team and providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance
●    Ensure sufficient resourcing and competence within the team to meet the contractual requirements    
●    Create positive and driven working atmosphere
●    Maintain code of conduct, ethics and integrity
3. Processes and working together
●    Ensuring software issues raised by the customers are handled and resolved according to contractual requirements and priorities
●    Responsible for the process of delivering software packages to end customers and supporting them in testing and installation
●    Working together with other Automation Service teams, software development and product management

                  ●    Align priorities and ensure the customers are getting the agreed servic

                  ●    Communicate customer feedback regarding issues and improvements

                  ●    Boost knowledge sharing and continuous improvement between the different teams

4. Sales 
●    Assist KAS sales in Automation Services sales and value proposition towards the end customers.  
●   Tailor and structure offerings based on customer needs, ensure proper documentation and sharing good practices between different teams and regions
●    Coach and train Market Area service sales teams in offerings
●    Participate actively in long term service agreement development work
5. Financial 
●    Assist the Director, Automation Services on the North America Automation Service financial performance
●    Assist the Director, Automation Services on the North America Automation Service forecasting and budgeting
●    Responsible for securing own and co-workers’ safety and health with all possible means.
