Area Sales Manager

Kalmar Finland is currently looking for an Area Sales Manager to join the team. Area Sales Manager is responsible for selling Kalmar products and services in Central and Northern Finland. 

This role is based in Oulu Area or any other major city in the sales region and it requires frequent travelling. Area Sales Manager reports to the Sales Manager for Finland and Baltics.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Sales budget from own area
  • Customer visits
  • Customer satisfaction 
  • Market intelligence
  • Reporting.
What you’ll need to succeed:


We are currently looking for a customer-oriented Area Sales Manager with solid networking, communication and negotiation skills. The ideal candidate should have technical background, flexibility, good stress tolerance and willingness to collaborate across functions in order to deliver the best results for the customer.

Ideally you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a technical major or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years of b-to-b sales experience 
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant business / product experience (hands-on experience with solutions sales and value-based selling techniques is an advantage)
  • Native speaker in Finnish and fluent in English - both written and spoken, is a must (Swedish is an asset).
