Sourcing Project Manager

Purpose of the position

 

 

The sourcing project manager is part of the division sourcing management team. He/she will lead the sourcing
project team in the Division to manage sourcing related projects or coordinate sourcing activities, which includes
but not limited to NPD, NPI, PLC, cost reductions, supplier workshops. Collaborate with global sourcing
organization to optimize the related process.
 

Main tasks and responsibilities

 

 

● Participate in division sourcing management discussions and take lead of strategic improvement
activities.
● Set vision and target for sourcing project team.
● Planning resources in the Sourcing Project team to support the cross functional collaboration in the
division.
● Lead and coach the Sourcing Project Team to meet the goals set by the Division and global sourcing.
● Accountable for the Division Sourcing Projects including not limited to NPD, NPI, PLC, cost reductions,
supplier workshops.
● Contribute to Division product roadmap development.
● Lead strategic strategy planning for NPD in cooperation with category sourcing teams or direct sourcing,
to meet the NPD sourcing target.
● Acting as or back up sourcing project leaders when needed.
● Own sourcing process for NPD
 

What you’ll need to succeed

 

● Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Science or similar interest and experience
● 8 (10 for senior) years or above in project management, product management or sourcing in a
manufacturing environment.
● 3 (5 for senior) years of leadership experience in management a team.
● Abe to lead and influence cross-functional team collaboration
● Drive and result oriented
● Good analytical skills
● Excellence communication
● Fluent in English both oral and written.
