Product Support Area Manager

Purpose of the position
We are looking for a self-motivated, energetic team player to support our After Sales organization.
This position is responsible for providing Technical support and product knowledge to Kalmar dealers and customers and to collect and provide product quality feedback to concerned functions and projects within business lines. Position requires acting as part of the “Task Force” with investigation of incidents and participating in further collaboration, when needed. Candidate will also take part in Product Lifetime Care Process, participate in meeting forums and take part in the information and actions deemed necessary. In addition, candidate will participate in New Product Development projects.

Main tasks and responsibilities
• Technical support and product knowledge to Kalmar dealers and customers
• Collect and provide product quality feedback to concerned functions and projects within business lines
• Act as part of the “Task Force” with investigation of incidents and participate in further collaboration,
when needed
• Product Lifetime Care Process, participate in meeting forums and take part in the information
and actions deemed necessary
• Participate in NPD project for machine model
• Assist with new machine assemblies and deliveries
• Dealer and customer operation and maintenance training
What you’ll need to succeed
Our ideal candidate has a business-oriented mindset, customer-focused approach, and excellent technical and communication skills. Proficiency in engineering tools used by Kalmar, analytical and structural capabilities, result orientation, problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude round out our list of sought-after qualities.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience in Industrial Electricity, Electronics,
Engineering Technology, related technical field.
Experience:
• Product knowledge and experience in after sales
Competencies:
• Product knowledge of counterbalance and electrical equipment
• Service oriented with good communication skills
• Fluent in English (both spoken and written)
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Focus on customer needs
• Ability to handle many tasks simultaneously
• Business oriented, with diplomatic skills
• Positive attitude
• Thorough analytical ability and well-structure problem-solver
