Product Support Area Manager

Purpose of the Position

This position is part of the Terminal Tractor business division, which is responsible for supporting the  profitability and development of terminal tractor within Kalmar. Services provided include problem solving and technical solutions to any potential customer issues that may arise

Making your next move count

●    Provide technical support and product knowledge to Kalmar front line service teams, dealers and customers
●    Collaborate with Regional Service Managers and dealers to manage development within designated region

●    Collect and provide product quality feedback to business division and operations

●    Act as part of the "Task Force" in the investigation of incidents and participate in further collaboration when needed. 
●    Product Lifetime Care Process, participate in meeting forums and take actions that are deemed necessary.
●    Participate in new product development projects

●    Assist in the research and writing of technical service bulletins

●    Coordinate research and response regarding recalls or other type of field campaigns

What you’ll need to succeed:

Education
●    Associate Degree in Business, Industrial Electricity, Electronics, Engineering Technology or Technical application and/or Field experience with Kalmar Terminal Tractors preferred. High School diploma or GED required. 

Experience
●     Background in Electric/Autonomous Mobile Equipment preferred

●     Experience in Terminal Tractor troubleshooting 

●     Product knowledge and experience in after sales support
