Material Inventory Analyst

Purpose of the position

Provide administrative support and coordination of Inventory Control System.  To establish and maintain location control of all inventory movements for material being received and forwarded within the warehouse and production locations.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain location control of inventory
  • Determine inventory adds and deletes, moves and reconciliation of inventory to and from locations are accurate. 
  • Identify inaccuracy and initiate problem correction
  • Part Number control:  Perform verification of correct part numbers (stock is correctly identified and quantities on-hand in storage locations are accurate including movement of parts within the Plant.
  • Identify and resolve problems on purchased parts received.
  • Prepare and coordinate Sales Orders for Parts & Service.
  • Assist Materials Supervisor

What you’ll need to succeed

Education:
•    High School Diploma or equivalent.  

Experience:
•    Minimum 1 year experience in materials inventory control

Competencies:
•    Experience working with ERP systems or similar inventory systems 
•    A "Can Do" attitude and sense of urgency, ability to prioritize and follow through is required to meet deadlines and to impact our overall performance.
•    Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational and communication skills. 
•    Google Office tools, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PPT) as an advantage
•    Taking initiative in a proactive manner to improve own and team work practices
•    Full professional proficiency of written and oral English required
•    Good at communicating in a professional manner
•    Display a strong work ethic and ability to comply with internal controls and policies
