Kalmar USA, Inc. is seeking a Marketing Manager, North America.  This position will manage marketing programs and activities to meet the organization’s short and long-term business objectives.

Key Accountabilities

  • Acting as single point of contact for marketing and communications in the Market Area, representing all Kalmar businesses and solutions
  • Responsible for securing the local execution of Global Marketing Plans, programs and campaigns, including target setting, tracking and reporting
  • Accountable for implementation of the Go To Market plans for equipment and services marketing spanning both print and digital content across all channels to support the local sales plans
  • Development and execution of Account Based Marketing (ABM) plans and programs within the Market Area in close collaboration with Sales
  • Responsible for planning and executing local Dealer Marketing programs, events and campaigns
  • Driving strong Kalmar presence at local events, exhibitions and conferences by actively identifying opportunities
  • Driving close relation with the local press, responsible for the local PR activities
  • Coordinating local advertising activities within the Market Area
  • Responsible for creating and producing content for Kalmar’s social media channels globally and locally (if applicable)
  • Responsible for internal communication within the Market Area, supporting the Market Area Leadership Team in strategy, change and leadership communication
  • Working close with the local sales teams and helping them achieve their commercial objectives
  • Building and maintaining a network of local marketing professionals within the Market Area to support  solution sales and secure local execution of global marketing programs and campaigns
  • Annual marketing planning, budgeting and follow-up for the Market Area

What you’ll need to succeed:


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field



  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience from B2B marketing in a global industrial environment. You have executed segment or account specific marketing programs globally and locally utilizing the latest technologies including marketing automation


  • Customer centric. You want to engage with our customers and understand their needs. Your goal above all is to boost the solution sales and strengthen the customer engagement with value-based marketing and communications.
  • Solutions oriented. You have customer-centric solutions thinking in your DNA. We expect you to work as a change agent in our organization and drive the mind-set change from products and technical features to solutions and customer value.
  • Results driven. You have proven track record of developing and executing global marketing concepts, campaigns and account-based marketing programs according to deadline, budget and set targets. You are driven by the results and work consistently from planning to local execution.
  • Content marketing expert. You know how to create rich and engaging content for different stakeholders and channels in order to build thought leadership in our industry. You understand digital and interactive marketing concepts and technologies, including social media, web and mobile.
  • Self-driven. You get things done quickly, on your own and in a structural manner. Yet, you are extremely proactive and transparent in your communication towards different stakeholders.
  • Team player. You work closely together with senior executives in the Mobile Equipment division, Global Solution Sales function and Business Lines. Additionally, you will be a core member in the global Kalmar Marketing and Communications team. You bring easily people together from different parts of the organization.
  • Passionate. You have a creative yet analytical mind-set and are passionate about our business and the industry where we are setting the standards. We embrace those who have a can-do attitude and dare to experiment
