Parts Item Management Specialist

Job Function:
The Parts Item Management Specialist is responsible to maintain global Kalmar parts lifecycle information in SAP.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Maintain Parts item data according to agreed policies
• Provide added value for item data content and verify data quality and completeness
• Eliminate Parts Duplication and Redundancy
• Support and develop related systems performance in item management process
• Provide Parts & Logistics item data quality analysis for business stakeholders
• Support Item Management process and Parts item policy development
• Cooperate with product lines, purchasing/suppliers and sales/customers to get part input and feedback
• Other duties assigned
What you’ll need to succeed:
Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business is preferred and/or relevant work experience
Experience:
• Technical background
• Experience with PDM and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• Process understanding of SAP/Servigistics
• Knowledge of Kalmar parts and product offering is preferred
• Knowledge of Kalmar customer and vendor base is preferred
Competencies:
• Strong IT skills
• Problem solving skills
• Fast acquisition of information
• Ability to work under pressure to keep agreed deadlines
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Working in international environment
• English Language

• Identify and harmonize item data to get savings
• Keep up and update own competence on technology
• Cooperation with different sales and purchasing stakeholders
