Manager - Solution Sales

Purpose of the position

Promote and sell the organization's products and services including spare parts, and provide technical sales support

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Pursue sales leads, visiting existing and new customers to meet sales target levels. Report the activities to CRM.
• Negotiate prices and delivery times within limits of authority; and conclude sales orders to meet revenue targets.
• Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services.
• Identify, research, and contact prospective customers and build positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business.
• Refer sales leads, customer feedback, and information on competitor activity to appropriate contacts within the organization so that they can respond to changing market conditions and customer demands.
• Work on developing the new customers and do active cold calling for promoting our own and third party products ( if any under the marketing arrangements ) in the territory.
• To provide the support to other regions in case of any situation arises.

Education
• Degree in Business/ Engineering or equivalent

Preferred Career Experience
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the Cargo handling equipment industry. The experience of Port equipment would ideal.
