Kalmar Mobile Solutions (KMS) is looking for a Service Technician.

In this role you will Independently, structured and professionally perform service and maintenance on material handling equipment at the customer's premises.

 

Main tasks and responsibilities:

 

  •  To perform service, preventive maintenance and ongoing maintenance on the material handling equipment available to customers in the area where they are located
  •  To be the first contact person for the area's customers and thus act with a high level of service and a friendly attitude so that the customer feels that he gets what he expects from the company
  • Responsible for the work performed to meet the technical expectations
  • To work towards set goals, based on the business plan and local planning
  • Regularly report their working hours, keep order on work orders, and otherwise plan the work so that it is performed efficiently and with high quality
  • Actively contribute to additional sales of service
  • Responsibility for service bus or equivalent in cases where it is linked to the employment. 

What you’ll need to succeed:

 

Education

 

  • Mechanical education or equivalent.
  • Knowledge and experience of Electronics, Hydraulics, drivetrains and the ability to put these into practice.


Experience

 

  • Previous experience Technology / Industry experience is a merit
  • Knowledge and experience of Electronics, Hydraulics, Drivetrains and the ability to put these into practice
  • Good computer, tablet/smartphone skills
  • Basic understanding of profitability requirements for own operations.
